Board of Reviews

What are Board of Reviews (BOR)?

When a Scout has completed all of the requirements for a rank, he must appear before a board of review. A board of review for all ranks before Eagle consists of two to three adult leaders. A board of review for the rank of Eagle Scout is run by our BSA District, Nachez Trace.

Boards provides an opportunity for the Scout to develop and practice skills needed in an interview situation, and it is an opportunity for the Scout to review accomplishments.

When does the troop hold Board of Reviews?

Board of Reviews will be scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month during troop meetings.
