Troop 137

BSA Troop located in Franklin, TN

Welcome to Troop 137

"The Barn"

Troop 137's meeting site is located in historic Franklin, Tennessee. We invite you to share in the Scouting experience.

The Barn is a great setting for scouts of all ages.  Inside the Barn, we have our troop meeting area, patrol rooms, and a display of the history of the troop and other parts of the BSA.  Our weekly meeting is led by our Senior Patrol Leader with the help of the Patrol Leaders Council with a different program each week. We have on-site rappelling, amateur (HAM) radio, gardening, woodcarving, archery, a knots & lashings room, a map room, a library, a coal forge, honey bee-keeping and more.

We do many outdoor activities like backpacking, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, shooting sports, camporees, high adventure trips, etc.  Membership in our Troop is ~100 Scouts and ~60 adult members.  If you would like to bring your unit for a visit, please contact us.  We look forward to meeting you!

We hold regular Troop meetings at the Barn every Tuesday (except holidays) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
